I can understand that... it is galling to get a begging letter asking me to renew (which I already have done, I guess the envelope system does not work Don) and then the same day we look to be losing our best player. I guess I should be used to it by now...
backtracking nutkins ???????????? like you're figure's ???? mmmmmm</p> talk to barry wilkinson he noes you xxxxx 26-27-28-29 </p>
Dunno, but we can't tell Bristol when to and when not to make offers Even if they've been contacted by agents....
I know we can't... perhaps I hope for too much in that I would have liked to hear that ADS was not for sale as he is considered a key part of our side. With the caveat that he will only be sold if he wants to leave.... But bloominging Bristol City.
frump official site "Everybody has a price - just look at what has happened with Ronaldo and Kaka in the last week - but Anderson is a very, very important player to Barnsley Football Club and our valuation reflects this".</p> </p>
Did not see that... the valuation though is what is in his contract - it seems pretty standard these days. Let's just hope that ADS is not over greedy and feels part of something at Oakwell so he stays on. But then again he is out of contract is he not next summer so we need to get money now...
His cousin is in goal an all I think the Euro Elections and media reporting since have given Patricks idea of a home grown 11 fresh impetus.
It would only be worth considering if it meant that we could bring in Adam as a replacement. I think we must have paid a good bob or two for him to Everton, but, presumably, we could lose him next year, unless he signs another contract with us. It would mean £500k available for Adam, plus a spare £500k towards Simon Cox, now that Celtic are in for Fortune as first choice under Mowbray. It will either all unravel big-time with JCR and Anderson, or nothing will happen much. We will see, but I have a hunch that it could be quite an active close-season in the Championship, including ourselves.
From the Mirror a £200k bid!! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...ton-target-anderson-da-silva-115875-21441693/
RE: From the Mirror a £200k bid!! We should tell them to go away and not come back with ridiculous offers like that.
Why on earth does anyone think we'd sell for that? One of our best players that cost us £750,000? Barmy.
That Million pound price tag should have been 2 Million Come on the tag on 1 million is peanuts in todays market place. Look at the cost clubs are asking for mediocre players. Anderson is a cut above the usual available players and we need him. So for me it would be take it or leave it.
