He did try connecting, think most of us were buzzing during that pre season, but the moronic element then booed him and his side after 30 minutes of his first home league game. Don't recall him calling us cnuts though. But I know most of us refer to him in that manner.

Facts are, late September 2012, he was adored on here pretty much universally. Lots of defeats and three months later he was sacked, without much call for it to be honest. It's since his departure that the hatred developed. Weird really.

 

Nope it was not, ask Jay why he dislikes him, bet it was not after he departed ? I will put money on it being the way Hill talked about the club and its fans! Ah but hey I have never liked fecking Barbour jackets and the silly swagger ! Telling BFC fans that they have no history is definitely the way to make friends eh ?

To be fair though Bob, you hate every manager, and all the players.

 

My view of him is skewed by HIM, therefore my dislike. I have never made any pretense of liking him. When he came to Barnsley I had no idea who he was, looked at his record and thought,(hoped) he might be decent, then he opened his mouth and a load of self promoting ballax fell out, that was the start of my dislike, it gradually got worse. The man obviously is comfortable at Rochdale, it happens with players too, they are good at on team but when they move they struggle. I have no problem with that, as I said it happens, but to come out with ballax like he did , then complain solidly that he had got no money etc. That was just a feeble grab at moving the blame.
You like him, fair enough , I dont , plenty of others on both sides. But I will just say this he is no longer manager at Barnsley, if people want to talk about how well he is doing then I would suggest going onto the Rochdale forum, not here trying to convince people he really is a great guy and how great a manager he is. That includes our friends from Rochdale too.

 

I am on the Rochdale forum. I play the other hand on there though, and say he's ****, highlight his mistakes etc.

I disliked Hill as a manager , I disliked Flitcroft as a person. 2 faced . The treatment of some players under both managers was shocking though and I am not just meaning Bobby !

But, I know some lads who said they were both brilliant.


I preferred Keith. But both had their good and bad moments.

 

Wrong again whitey, I don't hate King Danny, never will for the great years we had his as fans in his first stint.

Don't hate the players either, we have some decent prospects currently. I just don't worship them just because I know em like it appears you do. However each to their own opinion.

It's a dear do, as you say. I pick and choose now. Swindon at home just after finishing an 8 hour shift didn't grab me.
