We left When Blackburn won a corner early on in injury time. We managed to beat the traffic and knew we weren’t gonna score.

So I didn’t applaud the team as I wasn’t there. If I was I probably would, or not. No idea, I was pretty p155ed off to be honest.

However having a go at folk who do is just plain odd. If the players weren’t putting a shift in, different story. But the vast majority do, and they’ll be hurting just as much as we are.

Led by donkeys. But that’s for different threads.

Yes. At full time nearly everyone left in a mad rush. There were probably around 100 maybe who stayed to clap. Big Victor came over first on his own well before anyone else. Benson started following him without applauding, he realised, looked behind and saw the rest of the players heading over so turned and joined them. Then when they were done finally Asbaghi, Sibila and Laumann all came over and stood in a line and clapped for a fair length of time.

We beat the traffic parking at Hungry Horse two minutes walk from the ground. Bit like Oakwell Lane for people walking in the road mind.

Yeah we parked there. Got straight out, back in Hoyland about 11pm.

Great journey both ways actually. Had loads of time to take the boy for a McDonald’s and then a couple of shandies in said pub. Good night apart from the actual match!

Decent pub that. I would have Blackburn now as one of the better away days. Good for parking and drinking and the stadium is really good. Wish we could have took their scoreboard home....It was good that showed replays of goals so we could see who was to blame, but they should show opposition goals too.
