    There's 8 teams from the past 3 seasons. The two teams you mention are doing well without spending vast quantities of money (although Palace made a loss of £5m last season), but they do have two very good managers (Jackett & Holloway) who would not come here for love nor money. Nobody is saying it is impossible, but what was already very difficult has become more difficult in recent years. The way people go on about it on here you'd think it was so easily fixable that they could crawl out from behind their screens and do it themselves.....

    Birmingham are potless so they arent really in the equation. Burnley arent exactly flush with cash either, same as blackpool. Hull have a bit thanks to their owners and the other 3 have only just dropped into the championship. West ham don't count as they are back in the prem. Theres a counter-argument to your counter-argument.:)
