I think you're safe there - he's safely tucked up in retirement, and I don't see him being tempted to change his mind on that by Barnsley.

However, I'd be happy if did - he may be a marmite character but he's always been a quality manager.

For reasons already mentioned I wouldn't step foot in the club if Di Canio was appointed, in fact I wouldn't go until everyone associated with his apointment went from the club

There are many things in this life that are a lot more important to me than football. I happen to think a lot of managers that will be mentioned in relation to the Barnsley hot seat are crap, but it's only football, so I'll continue to support my club should one be appointed. If we bring in a man whose ideologies are abhorrent on human scale then I will withdraw my support. Playing the long ball game isn't a big deal, believing that people are inferior based on their ethnicity is and I will not support an organisation who thinks it's OK to employ a man with such beliefs as their figure head. Both my grandfathers fought fascism on the front line with a gun in their hand to keep freedom and equality in our continent, I'm not going to welcome fascism in to my football club 70 years later because I think we might win a few games. My grandparents, if they were still alive, would rightly kick me in to next week.

Completely agree with that Jay. Apart from the long ball bit. Which for me is akin to annexing Poland.

One of my several tongue in cheek suggestions. I can't stand the man.

Just Morgan and Blackwell for me. I'd probably go to their first game, hurl a shitload of abuse at them from the West Stand then not bother again.

There are managers who I wouldn't be happy about or inspired by, but no-one is going to stop me going to matches when I can get.
