    I don't mind the changing of wings its the fact that they get lost whilst swapping over.

    I don't believe we are twice as bad as a team this season but only time will tell.

    You must have been reading too much of Daveys waffell in that programme that you paid 3 quid for Ossett red, you will be saying that Macken & Oddjob can get 40 goals next.

    £3 and they couldn't evan get the Coventry squad right, still I didn't waste my money a bet.

    Although I still have to pay £3.50 a pint in that trendy bar you like !

    Why would someone who is from Barnsley, supports Barnsley FC, wants the best for Barnsley FC, is over the moon when Barnsley FC win and down in the dumps when they lose want to go and support Man Utd just because they don't like the manager or a particular player?

    They don't want success. They want success for Barnsley FC.

    the comment was aimed at making judgements on players that haven't had a chance to establish themselves.

    not to go and support a team that is more successful than barnsley.

    this board was rammed by people, myself included, anxious for the signature of hammill on a permanent deal.

    one bad game at home and all of a sudden people are on his back.

    how weird is it to now think their cross-city counterparts can now match them when it comes to taking the best players in the world.

    I wouldn't call myself a fan, but if i had to say which club i would prefer to win the Premiership it would be Manchester United. problem with that Bitter Blue?? :)

    miserable set of maungy, 2 faced , gobby, cheating cnuts. and that is only the management team, the players are worse.

    Managers and players of all clubs had a lot more respect for officials back then. The lack of respect in football as in society has got alot worse as the years have gone on.

    Be fair we shouldnt put too much emphasis on the first season

    Not Daveys team and I think we were allmost all satisfied with him keeping us up

    The last 100 or so games though ......

    I wanted a change this summer - but rightly or wrongly Patrick stuck with Davey and has given him another chance

    We cant tell if much has changed after just 2 league games, and his new signings have settled in.

    Lets see what is happening by the end of September. I have a feeling I know where we will be in the table then but hopefully I will be wrong

    So Liverpool then were not as bad as Man Utd are now!

    I dont like Liverpool at all, but in no way were they as bad as Fergies *****.
    Now then , the fans!!! That is a different story, arseholes the lot of them Cheeky scousers , back stabbing Barstewards more like.

    Some Manchester United players are known for screaming at refs but there are just as many at other clubs. Chelsea the worse for it in my opinion. As for 80's liverpool the two ginger wingers spring to mind as ref chasers - Nicol & Burrows, i hated those two. I can only remember back to the Fagan days not Paisley.
