But Flicker was backed too - Pedersen, Fox - and had the whole Summer to recruit permanent players in. We've only had to recruit those players because the team that was left behind wasn't goo enough - and it's worked - to a degree.

Happy for people to argue that we've not improved enough to avoid relegation, or that we've not seen the new manager bounce we'd like...but I don't think it can be argued we've not improved.

I know it generally doesn't though I think. Not that I'm unhappy about the change.

Agree Lil, its all about team, last year proved that. Danny needs to get the them to gel or whether the are better individuals on paper or on the field wont mean a jot.

It aint worth arguing over anyways because we are staying up.

13 games? Thought it was 10 league games myself.

Anyway, to answer the question, I'd say we are better than we were under Flitcroft this season. Unfortunately, we're nowhere near as good as we were this time last year under Flitcroft.

This is spot on for me.

No longer expect us to ship goals and get hammered but still not expecting wins either. There's definitely been improvement but it's only a small step and needs to pick up soon if we're to have any chance imo

Leeds away, Bolton home, Derby home, Birmingham away, Blackpool home, Blackburn home, Wednesday away, Ipswich home, Donny away, Wigan away. Ten league games.
I'm stamping my foot and waving my fist at the screen as I type. Just for greater dramatic emphasis.

Thats harsh on Flicker Jay, because he too was unlucky to come away with less points than we actually got.

Blackpool away done in last minute, the Ipswich game 2-2 was a repeat of the Charlton game earlier in the season, o.g at Millwall, After the initial 2 months which included some reight hammerings he went defensive and we started being in matches much longer and gaining a few more points reight up to the Brum game when we self imploded by gifting the opposition 2 of the 3 goals. Then he was gone.

I was being a little harsh, I was remembering the first couple of months rather than when he tightened it up, but I still feel the team we have now is much better. But as I said, the results have barely improved, so... However, I have more belief now that they will improve.
