RE: agreed he doesnt work but other wise brilliant

When and where is he brilliant. Tell me, if you can, when his "brilliance" has won us anything this season. Has he he made one "brilliant" pass that got us a goal. Has he scored one "brilliant" goal that won us a game. Has he made any "brilliant" contribution to any of the games this season?

RE: it has to be 4-4-2

In this league, technical ability has to come second unfortunately. It is more important to put a foot or a head in where it hurts, to get the results that are needed. McPhail is a luxury that we can't afford (in more ways than one).

I agree. It's nice to see McPhail play cos he's got nice touch and good vision but he's not a Craig Hignett who runs the show, hurts the opposition and scores enough goals to deserve his place. To win matches in this **** league you need the big lads like Kay who'll win headers and tackles.

RE: kay if i had to play 4 in midfield

i would rather hav kay in midfield, once he gets a few games under his belt he will get back to how he was when he won player of year, you watch. with that performance V forest mcphail will have to wait for his chance, only fair as it is a team game after all
