    Not claiming dole if you are an out of work employee for whatever reason you have is unwise, at least you get your Nat Ins paid which means your state pension (for what its worth) will be OK....

    Water infrastructure is also between procurement cycles

    so a slow 12 months is on the cards, particularly for on site activities.

    The industry is mostly recession proof otherwise but there will be plenty of engineers nippers twitching over the next 6-9 months, mine included.

    those too proud to claim are cutting off their noses to spite their faces IMHO.

    Been there and done it for a long time, not in the last 16 years mind, hopefully never again but I'd get my claim in quicksticks if it came to it.

    Try S&S Grove joiners from Normanton mate. They are busy I hear. I used to do a bit for them myself.
