Aren't we playing in exactly the same manner away from home now...

Lots will though, on the basis of hope. Hope that it gets better.

That certainly wasn't the case at Swindon on Saturday mate. It was a different setup, with different personnel, following different instructions.

At Sheff United away we had Winnall up top on his own, but when we got the ball and attacked he had players with him, moving the formation in to a 4-3-3. Our players were so far away from Waring on Saturday I think he deliberately stopped trying to win headers, and instead was trying to bring the ball under control - which as you can imagine got the fans on his back for not trying.

We showed a ridiculous amount of respect to Swindon. We were afraid to press, afraid to try and get the ball, and afraid to show anything going forward. Playing Smith wide left was an example of said respect. Part of me understands the thought process of having him there to stop their winger/full back being so dominant, but you've got to also give THEM something to worry about to stop that happening too.

Really bad day at the office and Danny got it wrong. Just need to fix it tomorrow night and move on to the next away game at Crawley.

TBH For me there's way too much thought going into the opposition, if it was working fine but it's really not, even though we have won some I would far rather we took the game to the opposition, if it works fine, if not at least it was hopefully entertaining. I also think playing like that we would gain far points than we lost, certainly more than we do with the current tactics

I agree. We've hardly been rock solid at home but we've had a lot of luck. I don't think that means our away game is good enough though, I think it means our home game isn't. The last home game however was certainly good enough but previous ones weren't and better teams would have murdered us.
