    Is it a bash Barnsley thread now? Public are getting fed up with football full stop not just Barnsley .plenty of town sized teams been in championship with less support than us, maybe just maybe people are cottoning on.

    don and flicker sold the club down the river. end of.

    And with Dons negotiating skills i fully expect there to be very little in the way of sell ons or further payments over the 3m. He couldn't even manage to get him back on loan for the remaining 4 months of the season.

    Single handedly the worst piece of business ever done by the club. John Stones could have commanded 3 times that figure if we'd held onto him for another season - or made them cough up for it now. He was under contract and we didn't need to sell. I understand letting him go to make a name for himself but it should have also been done with the clubs best interest.

    Made up for Stonesy and really hoping he makes the world cup but it don't half make my blood boil when i think about how we got ripped off because of mismanagement.

    Ahem! I didn't mention Don! Folk (me included) sometimes do as a 'lazy' joke. As it was popular back in the day to blame him for everything. Including the Ozone layer and global warming, and them pigeons int tarn centre! He wants hanging.
