Anyone would think You lived somewhere like , say ...... Norway , for example , with your attitude !!!ff ff ff
RE: Errm You probably do dear Sir, but I can assure you that you will get a lot more grip if you put the tyre pressures DOWN. The less pressure in the tyre means the more tread pattern you will have on the road, which means more grip...it really does work if you try it. Putting the tyre pressures up means you don't have as much surface of the tread on the road, making it even more slippier.
From RoSPA "Under-inflated tyres will increase your fuel consumption - to be avoided if making a long journey in snow! Over inflated tyres will reduce your grip on the road making it imperative that you reduce your speed."
Hehe You are totally correct tho! Normally you would put less air in your tyres to get a better grip. But here in Norway where we use studless snowtyres you must put more air in the tyres on very cold days because the pressure decreases.
RE: Hehe I'll meet you outside in ten (battered) I know I'm right...that's why I was so adamant...dear Sir! I never took into account that you were in Norway though, and that you use different tyres.
I thought you originated from........ ... a rather hurried knee trembler round the back of St Georges disco? That not right then?
