I would love to see us bang a cheeky 2 million quid bid in for Morsy, mind.

I think he'd probably tell us to jog right on but it would be worth having a gander. Top laiker.

I'm sure the majority of Wigan fans are down to earth people just like Barnsley fans. Just because a few morons try and goad Barnsley fans doesn't make them all evil suddenly. I wish them well and hope they have a football team to follow.

Yes It was Mick in Oz who sent the wine over , Tommy Tyke ( Chris Corke ) was unfortunately the front of the fund raising media profile before his fall from grace

We have Callum Styles & Romal Palmer. We don't need Morsy.

I'm not delighted or relieved. Wigan's appeal was THE most spurious I've ever read about. I struggle to understand why anyone believed it had any validity. But then I struggle to understand most people these days.

Wigan's appeal was always going to fail. Any other opinion on that is an arsehole opinion I'm afraid. It just is.

That's not the point. The point is Wigan are the first. There's going to be many more. We might be one of them. That's what you should be talking about. It's not a victory today. It's what's happening, it'll accelerate, and we'll be within that.

I’ll be interested to read the Judgment

it seemed spurious on the face of it and I thought they might not proceed with it. But then became concerned when reading how lenient the IDC have been in the past, and in some levels irrational.

The administrators have a duty to the creditors and so you would have thought there must have been some credence to the arguments for them to sink 500k plus costs into it. If not, they need to be having a good look at Begbies etc.

I’ve had a few dealings in the insolvency world and it’s very murky, but to pump circa 750k into a completely spurious case when there is so much money owed to creditors, would be beyond contempt.

    ... so wan with care,
Find we a time for frighted peace to pant,
And breathe short-winded accents of new broils
To be commenced in strands afar remote.

    Still giddy.

Sorry we're not all on your level here Jay...

The lawyers were going for getting them off on a technicality - we don't even know what it was that they were arguing, so I think it was natural for Wigan fans to have hope and us to be nervous

I'm sure you're right that there's more to come, and it's a huge shame
