Only if the outcome of the game affects the promotion or relegation places. When neither team has anything to play for, then there is no need for it to be played at the same time as everyone else.

That was certainly the case in the past as we have moved our last game of the season before when we have had nothing to play for. In the 95-96 season our final game against Grimsby was scheduled for Sunday 5th May, like the rest of the Championship, but as neither club had anything to play for, it was moved to Saturday 4th. So too was the Sheff Utd v Port Vale game as neither of those clubs had anything to play for either.

Planning on using the A61 or A635 on your journey?

12.15 actually clashes with the brunch I'd got planned at home on the lawn, weather permitting.
Nicely cut grass and pretty flowers on the table. Crispy bacon, sausages, croissants, a cheeky chilled white wine to soothe the anticipated dry pallet and a little background music flowing gently across field and meadow.
Oh my, oh my, oh my, it's going to be better than a tableau from Wind in the Willows.
Or I could worry about not going to Oakwell to see Barnsley versus Rochdale. F.uck that.

Things have changed since 95-96...now they all play at the same time...FACT.

If so you'll need to get there early (before 10 a.m. I think) - although exact times are not clear (well at least the sites I checked weren't that informative).

To Andy (as a follow up to Jay's post)

Not unduly worried, but I will be slightly inconvenienced. Croissants and bacon is a bit weird btw.

Cant see it happening but it would be great if it could be moved to Saturday afternoon
For a start I could go - I cant make Sunday Lunchtime ( well its too difficult - I am sure I could have found a way if the game mattered but not for a dead game)
And it doesnt confict with a load of Cyclists

    Wont happen though unfortunately
