I think given the options he has for a defensive midfielder abart the best option is Dawson. That's not saying much. I think DW hoped Frimpong would be summat like but he either isn't fit or isn't bothered.

I want to give DW time to build a side. I believe he can do this. What he's working with now is a bunch of spent soft *******s.

 

He's had a talent in Digby Redstar and could have played other talents like Rose and RNL ..............

It's massive for sure, I said this the other day to someone regarding Digby.

Digby and rose are signed upto 2016/2017?. Thats good but surely the club should show RNL the same faith and get him signed up to 2017 too.
Get him fit and fired up, get his confidence up with playing in pre season and been given a longer term contract and let him go at the opposition. Play him in attacking positions, maybe even try him in cm in pre season.

 

They've been injured or unfit for most of Danny's three months. But he's included Digby sporadically. Digby looked poor.

 

He made Digby look poor at Doncaster Whitey.

I've seen Digby play a lot and never have I seen him play in a system like that.

What position did Digby play that day? Was he played out of position, up front or left back or summat? Or was he picked to play in central midfield?

 

Digby was outshone by both Frimpong & Woods that day & I'm no fan of either of them.

Don't see how the formation hindered him at all. In fact we switched between a 4-4-2 & a 4-5-1 so if neither of them formations suit him he's pretty much ****ed

 

we played 433. Ogrady left of the front three and jennings right.
Frimpong deep, woods left and digby right.
Never seen him play like that before

 

Stop making up excuses as to why these players who you think are very good players are playing very poor is because they are playing in a wrong system, any very good player should play in any system.

Wilson has even played Frimpong in his best position and he was poor.

 

Wilson should play Frimpong and Digby together with Jennings Mellis and RNL infront them. He hasn't done that.

A formation for a players massive.
Juan Mata one of the most talented players in world football. Played in a position and a formation he wasn't confable in didn't look good at all. Play him in a position and role with a formation he likes and he was very good.

 

So when a player misplaces a pass, which frimpong has done 80% of the time I've seen him it's the formation's fault and not the players fault?

 

you can play frimpong wherever , but if is head aint right and his heart aint in club then he will just play like he has been doing for us . after watching him at watford , we wont miss him .

 

Dont say that! He's been our best midfielder since we got promoted, well in Hemsie world he is.
