Monday I wasn't too bad; a realist maybe. Were we really going to beat them 3 times in one season, then when we went down to 10 men I thought we'd little chance. Yesterday I was sad at how close we came. Today I'm fùckin fuming at how poxy Wednesday are both against us and Peterborough.
I had an experience recently lil. Where I found I was having to defend an opinion. Then having some people tell me I'm wrong because everyone says so. That truly is Watter off a ducks back. But I will fight my corner. Now the boot is on the other foot. I find the very same people defending their comments when all and sundry see it differently. I'll not comment on what the opinions were about. To most it will be obvious. But it's quite simple. An opinion is just that. Some find it difficult to respect it and use every Avenue to try prove people wrong. (they're right you are wrong as if fact). Bonkers. It isn't going to change. I too fall foul of that on occasion by finding I'm having to justify/defend myself. I shouldn't have to. And neither should anyone else. Not the degree the argument develops and extends itself. Not seen owt to apologise for btw. unless I've missed it.
I, for one, would never take offence at anything you say, cos I know no offence would have ever been intended by it. Always a problem with the written word though, as it’s easy to get the wrong impression from something. I overuse the apostrophe when writing online, as I figured that I’d rather look like a **** who makes bad jokes and uses unnecessary punctuation than someone getting offended when I’m only trying to make a (occasionally bad) joke. I should add that I haven’t been using many apostrophes when replying to some Wednesday fans on Twitter, because I am very much meaning to offend
Horrible isn't it. They jump into a Peterborough defender = Penalty They kick our player in the shin in the box = No penalty Flint drags Peterborough player down when last man = not even a foul Phillips is late on a one footed, side foot challenge = red card
