No way was the pull on Morris a red card offence. Yellow yes, but never red.

At the end of the day there was no one you'd have had confidence in coming on, unless we brought Walton on & played with 2 keepers.

We don't have a squad, We barely have a first team of 11.

We have signed so many duds in the last 12 months there is no wonder we are struggling after a bunch of long term injuries. The issue there rests firmly with Conway & the board,

My immediate view after the game was that those two would've been better options. But wasn't as sure after sleeping on it and calming down. I thought Halme would be the most likely understudy to Wolfe that we have, given his size. But whenever I've seen him play midfield, his lack of mobility always seems to stick out. If he'd been in Palmer's starting position in the lead up to the goal, I'm not sure he'd have got anywhere near it. Though he might've done more to stop the ball getting to Wilson after Cairney had won it. From what I've seen of Hondermarck, he looks full of running, can break up play, but lacks quality in his final pass. But the good qualities there would've been ideal in the situation. Problem is, he's not played for months. Was a brief appearance at right wing back against Peterborough his last appearance? I'm guessing he's only in the squad as a back up to Brittain now.

Ultimately, while I think there may be better options, it's not based on anything that I've seen recently. Poya had every right to expect more from Palmer and particularly Benson who appeared all at sea, and imo caused the confusion with Palmer in the lead up to the goal.
