I look at it this way, we all know a bowler can run out a batsman for backing up but they very rarely do and certainly not without a warning first.
Australia should've withdrawn the appeal for me. It was within the laws of the game to do so but very unsportsmanlike. If England did the same I'd be equally disappointed. Bairstow was a fool for giving them the opportunity to do it though.
Fantastic innings from Ben Stokes, I think that'll he curtains though I can't see the tail getting 70 runs that are required to win.
This game was lost in the first innings. 180/1 to conceding a lead of 90 was awful play. Excellent innings by Stokes, but probably should’ve trusted Broad a bit more and took some more singles once they started bowling wide of off stump.
