I suppose it makes sense but I can assure you that I have no fixation with Sammy Winnall or Peppa Pig

I’ve chose the best day to go to a test match. Off to Old Trafford on Saturday. 90% chance of rain all day.

Can’t wait to pay £6 a pint all day and not see a ball bowled.

With rain a real factor. I'd like us to bat first and set a total for Australia. Overhead conditions will be the same throughout the test. So bowling first won't matter. Bat first move the game along then try and bowl Australia out.

Not if he's got to get from Manchester to Headingley and back every time he wants a pint :D

I feel right stupid now !

My senior moments seem to be getting more regular.
I was even thinking the game didn’t start until Thursday like them olden days

It’s rare that betting odds for a cricket game are just about the same for every eventuality but all three are 7/4.
You’ve got to agree though that it could go either way.

Just hope it’s not badly affected by the weather

England win toss and bowl. No team have won a Test at Old Trafford after electing to field.

There's one thing we're good at tossing ,is that every test we won the toss ???

Athers announced that fact to Stokes straight after he’d elected to bowl …. He looked a bit shocked

Could be something to do with the fact that he’s missing the top of his middle finger on his bowling hand

Every Ashes match and the Irish test and one of the NZ ones went our way.

Seem to remember that Root won loads ( or was it Strauss ? )

Broad and Anderson have started well but a wicket or two would have been nice.
