It’s got to be Wood with Crawley a close second. Wood has only played in 3 games but his short and extremely fast spells of bowling were devastating
Two of the greatest ever finger spinners the game has produced - and the greatest bowler of all time (in my eyes, I know he hasn’t got the most wickets he didn’t get the dust bowls murali got at home), so yes you’re right but it’s hardly a fair comparison. You might as well say Jeff Thomson would have bowled quicker than wood or that Bradman would have scored more than Labuschagne.
Travis Head is such an odd player. I've never known a player look so different from one ball to the next. Ball 1: tailender having a swish. Ball 2: top class stroke maker. Ball 3: bloke off the street whose never held a bat in his life. Ball 4: world class T20 power opener. Ball 5 completely the wrong shot for the delivery but goes for 4 anyway. Repeat. He's clearly very talented, but how he ended up as number 1 batsman in the world I have absolutely no idea.
