Mate, I'm privy to the application process at our place and the locals just don't apply. Hence, we take on foreigners to do the jobs the locals can't/won't do. And they're bloody grafters. It's not rocket science. They're also just human beings, like me n thee. I try to stay out of these threads (UKIP/BNP/EDL/Britain First). Because I cannot believe that folk actually agree with the ***** they spout. But UKIP are the worst of the lot. Racists in suits. Racists with money. They're actually getting somewhere. Ok, it's only Clacton they've got to so far, but still, it amazes me that some folk are daft enough to trust/believe in their ********. But then, when the alternatives are Tory (scum of the earth), a weak Labour party or the Lib Dems (**** suckers) then I can understand folk scrabbling around for summat different. But please, if so, vote Green like I do. Their policies are bang on. They're nice. They're fair. Don't just pick an alternative because they're in your face and getting so much coverage. They're racist. They're self serving. They're not the answer. All my opinion. I respect differing ones.
Straws, clutching, I haven't heard, seen a proper argument or policy from these or their supporters yet. Its either because other party's not doing enough or similar but never what they stand for. Oh sorry apart from leave europe
Over half of my friends at uni are foriegners. They know I support UKIP and in fact some of them agree with there/my views on immigration. UKIP are nothing like BNP and if I thought for a second they were I would not vote for them, a few ex UKIP members have made racist comments, it isn't right to judge a party on what a few ex members say. That goes for any party
Sorry Nudge but there is absolutely no reason you can put forward that would prompt me to vote UKIP. They would scrap the minimum wage They are anti-union The industrial estate in Grimey was set up by an EU deprived areas grant, something that under UKIP would not happen
I think if you asked the average UKIP voter why they voted for them, it would be because of their policies on immigration and the EEC...... Nothing else.. Why? Because they have no other policies.
You do realise they take people on workfare so they don't have to pay them, and at the end of the period just get rid. Wonderful "employment prospects" there
For all it's worth I don't really know enough on politics to form a strong opinion on this matter but what I do know is that we have 4 absolute utter fu.cking bafoons at the helm of each party doing there upmost best to make our country even worse than what it is. How refreshing would it be to have a party who weren't racist, who didn't want to cut all private sector funding, wanted to build a strong industrial economy again and not want to make millionaires even richer!!!!
The 'problem' at ASOS And elsewhere, to whatever degree, is that the free movement of peoples across borders allows large corporations access to a large pool of labour that will work for the lowest wage possible - if it isn't UK residents, then it'll be someone from another EU country. So what solves that ?
Re: The 'problem' at ASOS Whilst I don't agree with a lot of UKIP policies, there is a rather elaborate campaign to discredit them (mainly via social media) which puts ridiculous policies under the UKIP logo which, of course, a lot of people believe.
Re: The 'problem' at ASOS Over the past 18 month my job as taken me into many homes of people (English & Foreign) living on the breadline, some are genuinely on there arse through no real fault of there own (English) a huge amount of people (English) though are utter lazy bar stewards who would rather piss there benefits up the wall and act like total dicks!! Then there are quite a few people (foreign) who go to work 7 days a week for what us English call a pittance...... You see the pattern forming? I spoke to a estate agent a while ago who said landlords now prefer the foreign contingent cos they keep the places tidy and pay there rent on time!! I agree we do have slightly too many in our country now but the majority appear to be hard working who want to feed and clothe there families.
all because govts have been very lenient on large scale employers and employers rights in general and with the help of the media they have all but demonised unions.. there is european legislation that gives workers a right to fair and decent treatment with a right to fair wages which tbh is disgustingly abused by some of these firms on massive profits. europe are chasing these firms but govts especiallyt the tory led coalition are blocking these moves and indeed are drumming up support with the right wing media to walk away from workers rights elements of the treaties but keep the lucrative trading .absolutely disgusting imo. workers that vote for this party and the tories reforms are as tukeys voting for christmas.
Re: The 'problem' at ASOS absolute load of ballax. there are lazy people and hard working people of all nbationalities its called being human. fekin divisive politics dont you just love em
Re: The 'problem' at ASOS please if you wouldnt mind list some of these policies that have been fully ratified by the party apart from their immigration and european rantings as policy on these has failed any explanation or agreement
J So you were working in a pit in 1947 were you? 67 years ago. Sounds legit. Let's say you were 15, that makes you 82. Even under those circumstances, thankfully you'd have only worked a year before national insurance came in. UKIP are not the answer.
Re: The 'problem' at ASOS theres threads on here saying quite the opposite to yours in that the brits are all great workers and the foreighners are benefit scroungers. but hey all this debate leaves the fekin bankers alone so all good eh?
Are you Jack by any chance? http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?217382-Another-bloody-UKIP-thread
