I dont think he "needs" more goals- it would be nice if he got some but its not like he is missing lots of chances. If he can keep going at an assist per game for the rest of the season it will do me. I think he will score a few anyway - good goal against Crewe in the cup and he has had a few near misses and good saves against him but the way we are playing him he isnt going to be a 20 goal a season striker. Wouldnt be surprised if he gets half a dozen between now and the end of the season but if the assists keep coming I dont really care if he doesnt score again
One of the players I couldn't wait to see at a higher level. After taking a couple of months to find his feet, he's starting to really look the part. Very exciting to see what he's got in store in the future, hopefully with us. In my opinion he's in a completely different league to Brad Potts as a footballer. He also comes across as very modest and grounded in interviews, which augers well for his career.
One of my favourite players is Brownie. To think he was just filling in from the under23s when we sold Brad Potts to what level he is at now.
