Course they had the best car, or they were at least equal to the ferrari

so in a competition between essentially just four people and with unlimited funds at his disposal he came first, not bad but not exactly on a par with somebody beating the entire world on what is essentially the same bike, or somebody with no fancy mechanical help winning at swimming.

And I think its a bit disrespectful to say that Hoy only won because he is scottish, suddenly team GB isn't team GB anymore, it's team England apparently.

So you're saying that Hamilton should not have won either? nt

RE: How long has it been a phone/text vote in? nt

It was definitely a phone vote when Liz McColgan because the angler (can't remember his name) got more votes than anyone in the history of the competition but he wasn't allowed to win

If the two teams were so superior

why didnt they finish 1,2,3,4 in every race? Fact is, they didnt win everyone of the 18 races, and if you look at the podium finishes through the season, there's 8 teams represented. Are BMW and Renault so far behind them? Not according to the points table.

Im sure I read something from one of the other cycle teams during the Olympics saying that Team GB were so far ahead of everyone due to the investment that its a case of competing for second place.

RE: he is right about hamilton though

Indeed. I'd have had Hamilton around 5th or 6th personally. On top of the top three, I believe Bradley Wiggins, Andy Murray and probably even Victoria Pendleton (who looked lovely talking on stage) all deserved to be above him.
