Yes once the season they won the league under Keeegan but it was a night match finished 3-0

Remember that game in the playoff season well and all the trouble. Got involved like a tit didn't I? Went arse over tit cos I was too pissed and ripped a new pair of jeans!

I think nearly everyone got involved that day.

Those where the days though art at 11am Saturday morning roll back into the house at 3am Sunday morning.

I dont think anybody does that on a match day anymore

 

i still do ........... well i try anyway out at 11 in town but by about 9ish cant hardly talk n go home to paint the bathroom with carrots n lager

 

Don't remember the trouble

Remember coming out of Maine Road under a shower of coins having to get through the smallest exit ever then being charged at the bottom of the stairs. Stumbled over a Reds fan lying in a pool of blood just outisde the city centre. Horrible day</p>

 

I try an'all mate but like you 9pm seems to be the time i hit the wall, last time i tried doing it was Forest last season managed approx 11pm i think

Dont know yet cos im taking the young un so looks like Walkabout is out of the question, having said that im not sure his mum would appreciate me taking him round tarn all afternoon so might sneak a couple in the Walkabout before the big hitter arrives in town

snap always start in walkabout from 11ish theres loads of us out cause its my mates birds birthday so be out with them n most prob wait for my mates from thurnsco to get to town then have a fair few with them

It kicked off bad that day as when they let all the City fans out of Regents one of the Barnsley lads got slashed down the face by a City fan. 2 blades with a matchstick inbetween were used. He was taken to Sheffield for treatment. It was really hard for them to stitch his face as he had two deep slashes so close together. This then caused the other lads to go absolutely barmy when word got round.

 

I'm willing to postpone it to Wednesday match....? nt
