Yes

Slubbers is 1.6miles down Bradford Road from the roundabout (google earth).

Its on the right hand side on the junction with Willow Lane and Halifax Old Road.

LDDC should be able to get a Taxi from the train station if hes struggling with directions.

Its a good pint though mostly full of Town Fans though not idiots.

    Always go there.

Think there will be a few of us if you come along.

Soft option for the less confident/short of time:

    Train it from Dewsbury:

Ignore red circle on map linked - aiming for the word "Dewsbury" on the dotted train line.

    Take J40 M1 A638 (Dewsbury)
Approx 1 mile, straight over Ossett roundabout.
Approx 3/4 mile straight through lights (cemetary LHS)
Approx 3/4 mile join map below on green road bottom RH corner
Straight through lights (as opposed to left fork) joining Ring Road (as opposed to Rishworth Road). Follow past A653 Leeds turn off, A652 Batley turn off and A638 Halifax turn off, then get into RH lane, turning into station car park (large, and cheap if not free in the evenings).
About 3 x trains per hour into Huddersfield from nearside platform, return fare less than £2, journey time 15 mins approx.
