    Isn't that where the top players test themselves? I thought it was better than the World Cup?

    Or does that argument only apply when you're trying to escape the fact that Rooney is dogsh1t at competitive international level?

    Panathinaikos average attendance for 2012-13 season (latest I could find) was 9,571. Over 17 games in a season (17x9,571=162707), if 11 had 2,000 in (22,000 in total) then the other 6 games had an average of ~23.5k.

    The chance to join one of the big 2-3 clubs in one of Europes second tier leagues *and* play in the Champions League/UEFA cup in warmer weather or division 3 football in England doesn't seem like a difficult decision or backwards step to me.
