Each time you storm out of a thread, just say something stroppy like.

"It's not fair, stop picking on me" Then everyone will understand that you're having a flounce.

You can then appear at the next thread as if nothing happened, only with redder eyes and sniffling a bit.

 

Or possibly

Site admin could introduce a Dirk simulator in the BBS code.

All it would need is an automated script to randomly delete and reinstate his user account at approximately 28-day intervals.
It'd be just like having the old Dirk back.
