The biggest downside to it is, those who are going out just because they know Tarn’s gonna be bouncing and don’t give a **** about the bands/artists. It was same with its predecessor Live in Barnsley. Really grates me when I hear folk moaning that they don’t know the songs, never heard of the bands/artists etc. and ‘ why don’t they play something we all know’ Last year was the first year I didn’t go, and unfortunately just learnt that I may not be able to make it again this year, but I missed it. Always use to read the info about the bands and try and plot a route/ timetable out to try and watch those that might appeal to me. I think taking it to a venue outside of Tarn centre would lose the character/ authenticity of it.
I believe the App is now available to download. It was extremely busy last year but was also cracking flags something that’s not likely this weekend. Anything that brings in much needed revenue got to be a good thing right ? There are also designated quiet areas where I’m sure the queues won’t be as bad.
