You may well have a point but only a few weeks ago we were after a 'presence in midfield'. None of which Abbott, Digby, Berry, Bailey provide.
Cranie should be head and shoulders above any defenders in this league, but unfortunately for him he was very much a part of a poorly relegated side. A new club would have been better for all parties.
So...you've decided that Bailey is gash, on what? Two games? You remind me of the school bully who waits at the gates first day of term looking for his victim. Pathetic.
I think he looks exactly the player you're claiming he isn't. He can pass it, he does go forward, he did put some challenges in yesterday (the problem wasn't he can't tackle, it was our formation and asking him to be 3 places at once) and I do think he's got a bit of pace, too. I just think it's completely out of order that you're already slagging off a player that's played, from memory, 3 full games for us - signed at the end of pre season, got injured and is just coming back to fitness. But again, you know all this. I am still interested in the players you actually rate.
Oh, he f.cked up big time. But we all do. If that's the reason for the slating then it's out of order.
Maybe I am judging too soon, but I have not been impressed. However, I would say that based on current showing he is exactly the type of player I have described. Five players? Barnsley players? Present players? Past players?
Ah, interesting. Aaron Ramsey, so often and for years slated by Arsenal fans as not being good enough until last season when he scored a few.
Why is that interesting? I'm answering the question as a complete neutral. If I was an Arsenal fan and had watched him week in week out I might share their opinion. That's not what you asked though.
I just find it interesting that you enjoy watching a player that was for years slated as being the type of player you claim you hate. Isn't that a lesson in patience?
