Why don't you try it ? You obviously have his ear.

Tell him to tell Andy Ritchie to strengthen the back line while you're playing at being Alan Freeman.

RE: It's a very simple concept.

I don't think GS e-mailing me about the theme tune is likely to delay us signing a defender. As far as I'm aware he's not a scout or the manager who identifies possible signings.

Have I said that the other things don't matter?

Ooohh - stick you, your Mama too ... and your Daddy.

When do you get to lapdance for him?

    i agree with Journo

    defence: responsibility of team management
    website: responsibility of media department
themetune: responsibility of studio guys (whoever it is)

ok so the chairman has to give the ok to change the themetune but how long does that take? 2 or 3 minutes. im sure he can manage to do both.

the point is that we are a big company, ie it employs a lot of people. we dont do just one job at a time, what we should do is get different departments to work on jobs. rob can sort the website out at the same time as the clubshop sorting themselves out and ritchie signing a aplayer. the maanger doesnt say oh hang on i cant buy a left back because rob is creating a downloads section this week.

Lol, I'll be nicknamed TT soon, and that is NOT good!

What I meant was, the information I give him on behalf of all the people on here and other BFC fans I know and talk to may have an effect, whereas player suggestions may not.

I was considering telling about a young lad at Newcastle I've heard rave reviews about, but I expect they get that all the time so I didn't bother.

We're not a big company at all. That said I've no prob with Journo trying to get this issue sorted.

Shall I also tell him we need a new striker as Nardi's always crocked, a left winger, a central midfielder, and that Colgan should be dropped for Flinders?

Depends what you want to do.

I think handing a list of transfer targets is a bit silly.
He pays people to do that sort of thing.

What he needs is an efficient vehicle to review the issues that the fans are having ... and a simple forum to give his feedback.

If you want to really contribute - then work with Site Admin to create something along those lines.

I think your heart is in the right place.
Your head will catch up soon.

we are a big company with regards to people

there are enough people employed at the club to sort different things out at the same time.

i dont mean a big club in the sheffield wednesday sense of the word.

    Lol...

Alan O'Brien, Irish left winger. Starring for their reserves, some of their fans want him in the first team, but given the large number of midfielders in their squad, it may not happen in the near future.

As a matter of fact Journo - you're doing EXACTLY what TT and the old BBS did last year.

Exactly 12 months ago, from memory. That is - they got people to nominate their favourite tunes and
submitted a fairly expansive list to David Walker.

Perhaps you should approach the old Site Admin team to see if they've still got that list - might save you
a load of time and trouble?! I seem to recollect also that the person nominating the 'winning' tune was going to get a free ticket for the Executive Suite - not that it happened, of course! Something else to mention to your 'mucker'.:pff
