I'm waiting for the thread where old ladies moan that some people have the audacity to criticise anything at Oakwell My mistake, its here...
There's hundreds of them today, all with high-viz vests on! Looks like someone has responded to the critics. We'll see.
Huge improvements so far! Plenty of them, spread out, wearing nice new bright bibs and actually running to get the ball.
Young Josiah Dyer I think. Joined us as an 8 year old after Dean Gorre advised Dad Bruce to get him into an Academy. Because of Brucies time at Oakwell and his continued support, he knew we had a very good set up, so for him he said it was a no brainer to let his son join the Reds.
You could possibly have "two ball person", and "no ball person", with variations thereof e.g. "two balls till the op next week person"
I know one of them, good lad. Was released by Wednesday, his first match fo tarn was against Wednesday, scored 6 goals
Much better today. Spaced out more and quicker to get the ball back. Must be the power of the high vis jackets. Now to save cleaners a job they could clear away all the plastic bottles and warm drinks cups that have been under the removable east stand advertisement boards for weeks now.
I thought they were ok. There were definitely one or two who were eager and quickly retrieved the ball when it went out near them.
Yeah I was being harsh really. Just frustrated me when it went into the away end and 7 lads are sat round doing nowt.
My Mrs did a shocking job, ball got stuck under seat in front row on West stand... She took ages getting it from under. . . I thought Cavare was gonna smack her!!
