You must have read it wrong and we are 2/13 to go down. So if we whack £50 on us to go down, if we do that's season pass paid for the season after next when prices will go back to usual.

I've learned to stop being optimistic at the start of Championship campaigns. 13/2 is too long.

If you genuinely believe that then back it at that price

Should we start a petition to get them renamed Bournemouth AFC?

Even with the clusterfcuk behind the scenes, we’ve brought Ludewig back, Frieser is apparently already at St. George’s park to be announced today and we’re strongly linked with the Kopke lad. Also rumours we’ve had bids rejected for the midfielder from Donny, I’d heard that from my donny supporting mate a couple of days ago too.

We are adding to the squad - and we didn’t in the main look ‘dog$hite’ january onwards once we’d got a bit of know-how in the back line. (Though there were some notable exceptions).

We are only a couple of signings from being a very solid championship team - though we don’t know who, if anyone, is to be sold.

Agree completely. And tbh if we sign the players we seem to be linked with most (Burt, Frieser and the new one this morning Kopke) then whilst we hope they'll be good championship players we won't know whether that's the case until we get a dozen or more games into the season. I am hopeful that our young players continue to develop, the form over the second half of last season can be maintained, and the players signed prove to be hits rather than misses and we can therefore stay clear of the bottom few places but I'm certainly not over-confident atm.

My optimism is a matter of record but I think it's too long too.
