RE: Barnsley Bears?! Always think those sort of names are much better if they have a link with the area, historically or geographically for example.
RE: Wildcats? Wild? Cats? Its Trinity! Featherstone was to be called Pirates!!! Until the fan base went barmy! WTF have pirates gotta do with Featherstone??? Dean
Fev will never be as good as the Super Rams Watch out for the Rams gaining promotion to Super League overshadowing all the other ten bob West Yorkshite teams
RE: Wildcats? Wild? Cats? Its Trinity! I remember that the said it was cause a 'rover' originally meant a pirate, what a load of crap bad enough they sold the naming rights to the ground 'lionheart stadium' indeed but then to change the badge from the towns coat of arms to a fecking pirate is just stupid imo.......................... sorry rant over.
I don't understand why anyone could see rugby league as a rival to football, in reality it's just a small regional game played in a couple of counties with the odd franchised team from outside West Yorkshire or lancashire thrown in to try to make it look more interesting. The whole thing's a bit of a joke really when teams are denied promotion on the grounds that their stadia aren't big enough despite topping the table, how they can even call it a league when a team can't move up through it on merit rather than how big their ground is beyond me.
RE: Fev will never be as good as the Super Rams But they won't let the Rams in because the ground isn't big enough. Th whole super league thing just a scam anyway funded by murdoch and his dirty money.

That's just what some of our "massive"Clubs in the Premiership would like to do to keep the "minnows" like BFC out.
Some of the "Big Boys" like Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds would love it if there had been no promotion or relegation.
I can remember all the talk of Premiership Two a few years ago and BFC were not one of the Clubs mentioned.
What happened to the Rams was a disgrace.
