As a supporter with a disability

who finds climbing stairs awkward and tiring I mustsay I don't have a problem with BFC following the rules and restricting the use of the lifts.

I sit in the Enterprise stand with mum and dad when I go and they make sure that I don't get hurt, pushed, bumped etc. They make sure that I get around safely and don't get in other peoples way.One walks infront and the other behind.

Even when I have won tickets from Football in the Community at school the tickets were always for the Family Stand and because I can't manage all the stairs to get up there BFC allowed me to change them to somewhere easier to get to. They let me go in the Enterprise (Ponty) end because dad sits there so both him and mum could watch me.

Didn't the football club have a mock emergency to deal with a few months ago?

Is it possible that a problem cropped up and this means that we have to follow others in saying that for safety reasons we have to use common sense and ask supporters to be aware of their own safety and that of others. In an emergency we hope that everyone would use common sense and help each other but what we would like and what usually happens is not always the same.

If this means that you have to change seats then what is the problem?

The seats are sloped and views shouldn't be much different in the lower tier or elsewhere.

Spot-on, thankyou for posting this, it's about time some idiots started thinking about this so-called issue more - not rocket science is it?

Anyone who complains, are welcome to go and support Wednesday next season!

    Laura i repect you opinion

    and in my father case

'If this means that you have to change seats then what is the problem'

He has changed his seat, after 70 years of going his seat will now be one in the front room of his house.

He's been going for 70 years

So he changed his seat after 60 years of going in order to go in the upper tier!
