He's a good player but he's still very raw. If we get 5m for him that's a great bit of business.

I mean yeah in an ideal world we could have kept him but this is certainly a time where we have got a very good price for a player.

Just the timing that isn't ideal but we can't really turn that kind of fee down.

Of course not but that is the accusation from the negative element on here. But even if not the board proactively got us into a good position contract wise with him to enable us to extract good value.

Anyway it seems to me that we are playing hardball more than in the past which can only be a good thing.

5 million even with FGR 20% is a great deal if we reinvest at least 50% of the fee. Even if we don’t too good to turn down.

According to Peter O'Rourke a deal has been agreed for Kitching and he is on his way to Coventry for a medical

£5million is fantastic business! Well done BFC, a nice refreshing change that we have held out for a what is in my opinion an over inflated fee.

No mention of interest in his future and that's on their own official site. I'm sure if we had to pay them anything extra on top of the record fee, they would have worded it in to that article at the time. I don't think they will be seeing another penny off us.

There’s absolutely no way they’d have signed McCart if they didn’t expect Kitch to go.

£5million, if true, is a great fee I’d say. Shame to lose him but that’s more than I’d have expected

Yeah but we won't though will we. I just don't understand the jubilation that we're getting decent money; it won't be reinvested in the playing squad so what's to be happy about?

Serious questions have to be asked if 8.5M from Andersen & kitching doesnt result in significant investment.. I fear ur probably right tho

The entire back three and goalkeeping staff systematically dismantled. Replaced by loans, long shots and non leaguers.

    Absolutely moronic.

If we’ve any sense we’ll hold our counsel until January and invest the money then to give us a promotion push. Be a better prospect to players if it looks like we might go up.
