And when they realise they were wrong trying to discredit the story, resign to ‘so what!’ Like there is no alternative to underfunding.

the logic is priceless, can you imagine telling your kids they have to starve, there’s no money for dinner cos you’re powerless, the reality though... you’d rather give your posh mate Jake a tax break.

Other than some sound bites can you back this up. Imagine if half of this stuff went off under Jeremy Corbyn.

Ps. We all know you are a massive Tory apologist now.

The photograph was taken by his mother.

So below are links to three different online media outlets.

    https://www.ft.com/content/121eca30-1a97-11ea-9186-7348c2f183af

    https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/news/leeds-news/lgi-bosses-apologise-after-four-17385357

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-50713236

All three attribute the photo to Ben Lack a leeds based professional photogorapher.
Now I can understand one outlet mistakenly doing this. But three?

Theres also additional photos of this same child taken by the same photographer in a hospital bed.

And the one of the kid with his mum at home

Coincidence perhaps that he just happened to be ill at the same time with his camera equipment with him?

Now the photo its self. The O2 mask. Im sure someone will correct me but if a patient was on that type of mask wouldnt they 1. Be in resuss. 2. Be in a bed sat up. 3 be under closer supervision.

Apparently i shouldnt disect the photo as it shows the state the NHS is in. Coming from someone who posted a random number generator link for how much money Barnsleys CCG will lose over the next 3.5 years is a bit rich.

Now you are correct. I did hypothesis the scenario. Which would based on the LGI statement (Which apparently i have to provide sources for. Googles normally a good start. Try it.) Be some what close to what occured.

The child was treated. Assessed and kept in overnight for supervision. Unfortunatly there were no beds available so he had to wait in a treatment room on a chair.

At no point it would seem was he treated or forced onto the floor. The only time he was on the floor based on news paper articles was of his and/or his parents own choice.

You are aware of the consequences a health care professional would face if they deliberatly left a patient on the floor?

Do you honestly think any health care professional would force or treat a kid on the floor?

So I should be man enough to apologise if the 'right wing' gets something wrong. I've no qualms admitting I got something wrong. However, I would expect the same from the left wing accolytes that frequent this forum.

Which we all know will never happen.

I have no problem calling out social media fairy stories such as the examples on that blog presented in this thread.
However, i expect the same levels of scrutiny to stories of a left wing nature.

This incident being a prime example.

Everyone took a story at face value and became out raged. When in reality the story doesnt stack up.

Everyone is aware the NHS isnt without fault however exploiting a young child for political gain isnt the way to fix it.

Nor is having 'more beds' incase theres a sudden spike in admissions. Beds that will be sat empty for the most part and will require daily maintenence/skeleton staffing just in case..

Essentially throwing money down the drain on a what if. How many of those complaining about lack of NHS funding would be the 1st to complain about the NHS wasting 500k plus a year on empty beds?

And why are A&E cases increasing. Well look at Labours polices under Blair. Most of whom you voted for.

As for the outrage with Corbyn. . I can recall 'traingate' when he got made to look daft. Even then to someone here. He couldnt do no wrong.

And im not massive. I've lost weight.

Read this post but not commented but couple of thoughts:
Photograph creditation - could that just be that the Mother sold the rights to a local Photographer? Not unheard of so is possible.

On the actual photo people are saying he had to be treated on the floor etc, this is categorically incorrect and has been confirmed by both the Mother and the Hospital. Both confirmed he was moved there from a bed and there was a chair in the room.

Just to emphasise, I’m not commenting on the fact he had to be moved to a cupboard and there was clearly a lack of beds.

I can understand and respect people who are voting for Labour, Tory and some extend Lib Dems with policies and a manifesto but i cant for the life of me understand why people would vote Brexit party where openly there is one item on the agenda and the direction, governance and development of our nation is way down their agenda if at all in it. I would be interested to hear how people see this party outside of getting Brexit done.

To those 7 not voting please reconsider. I might not agree with people's choice of candidate but the right for all to vote was hard fought for, with people literally giving their lives for this freedom.

Not speaking for them but maybe the 7 are like myself and just cannot vote for labour, tories or brexit but will vote for someone else which there isn’t a box for. I can’t just not vote for the reasons you mention

Traingate has been proven to be ********.

Since the right wing rags ran that story, evidence has come out to prove that Corbyn was indeed perfectly correct in what he said.

In your own words, ‘all can be found on google’.

Make of this what you will but it seems that the woman whose Facebook account was the source of the multiple posts saying the story was faked has links to the Tory party and her son used to work for Matt Hancock .

I’m loving the level of sheer desperation used by @DEETEE having repeated the fake news story that the shot was setup, he doesn’t back down when it’s debunked. Then posts the hospitals apology but still claims that the whole things a set up.

In my limited experience of NHS trusts things have to be pretty solidly against them before they apologise for anything.
