    PMSL nice one mate

You're an oldham fan living n barnsley that has inside information about BARNSLEY signings from bury, doncaster rovers, wigan, leicester and now oldham where you had a personal conversation with the management of the club who told you that they were selling their star striker.

Is your last name Disney and first name Walt by any chance?

    RE: no chance

Yeah - because we don't need a proven tier 2 marksman, who has retained enough of his ability after being out of the game to still be knocking 'em in in tier 3!

If somebodys car had a deflated tyre and they were involved in an accident in which someone got killed would they then be a murderer?they would be breaking the law just like Lee Hughes was.

No because they never intentionally deflated their tyre so they could murder someone.

was that a question or a statement deanotyke because, if you're providing a factual account of the state of his car at the time of the accident then surely it's negligence leading to manslaughter. The only time I would describe him as a murderer,as others have done, is if he had driven with intent to kill. It is an awful and regretful situation but the law says he has done his time and paid the penalty. the offence was in the extreme but I try to remember that we all live in greenhouses except that we don't generally go around killing people with our vehicles.

No, he did a runner with his passenger after the accident before they turned themselves in the next day.

I wouldn't welcome him at Oakwell.

I agree with baskerville. He served his time (maybe it wasn't enough) and he's helping out in the community (doesn't make up for it) but he knows he's done wrong.

That still doesn't make him a muderer. All that really makes him is a coward.

    murder

If you climb into a car pissed, anything that happens from that point on cannot be classed as an accident, he made the decision willingly knowing what carnage he could ultimately cause. Therefore my belief is that anyone in that position should be charged with murder.
I find it sad tht a number on here value a few goals higher than human life, bet you were outraged at what Morgan did too.

certainly, he'll be keeping National Tyres and AutoWindscreens busy and his evening at the supporters club forum will be interesting.

manslaughter not an accident or murder as

...murder has to be premeditated. He's done his time whether it was long enough is something to be taken up with the criminal justice system.
