I get where you're coming from on that. I suppose it's the repetition that irks folk though. Not the opinion, but the amount it's repeated. If I created a thread every day saying "we are ace and everything is shiny and we are going up" and also added that in other threads every day too, I'm sure folk would be irked by that n all. We get it. January was awful. After such an amazing 2016. We've lost players we loved. I know. It's bad isn't it? But it's July and we start afresh in a great division with no debt and a great manager etc etc etc. Some of us just want to move on and focus on the future. We can't change our past. Not aimed at you or anyone in particular.
I'd sooner be "irked" by that type of post. It's the kind of mentality we have when we first nail our colours to the mast as youngsters. Why does it have to change? We're all "supporters" after all. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
It's not a constructive post I agree. But the reason why Conan's moaning gets on people's wick is because it is continuous. There's nothing "supposed" about it. It's relentless.
Davies is certainly worth something, probably a million in today's market. Moncur, if he carries on the form he showed at the end of last season, will be subject to bids for a lot more than what we paid for him come January. Logic would also suggest that Ethan Pinnock and Cameron McGeehan are both worth going on for a million, although I doubt that we're loooking to offload either of them in the near future. I'm not really sure I get your point. Player values fluctuate. Mowatt and Bradshaw are probably worth around what we paid for them, Kpekawa definitely less. But if they show good form in the first half of next season their value will go up. All the lads we've recently paid fees for are worth something on the transfer market, otherwise we wouldn't have paid for them. But as we're not looking to sell any of them, that's a little irrelevant.
