Barnsley V Bradford 26th April 1997

I've got the 1993/94 mid season, the 1994-95 season and the Bradford City "A Day to Remember" videos on VHS. I'll gladly drop them off if you want them.

 

Quick story about the Town Hall museum. I got approached to loan my collection of BFC cigarette cards, stickers, photos etc to display in the Experience Barnsley sports bit. I gave them the whole collection to select what they wanted to display. Months after some were on display. Still are I think. I'd signed a form with my valuation of the collection which had taken 25+ years to build up. Went to collect the file and they couldn't locate it. The lass who was Chinese who organised the museum had moved back home. So then I couldn't find my signed form with the valuation on and they couldn't find their copy either so I didn't have a leg to stand on !!!!!!!! Collection was worth thousands! B@57ards

5-6-7 years ago.

Me and my mate Matthew Lumb who collects various memorabilia loaned them as well. He got his back. I obviously didn't. I think I'm only person who's barred from Town Hall.

I can't quite work out what's happened from your post. Are you saying that you've lost some of your memorabilia collection? Or just the valuation of your collection?

 

Both. I've only got the 5-6 cards that are on display (I think). The rest all missing/lost/stolen and wasn't recompensed a penny for them. I tried everything. A total sh17 show.

Edit. This thread has inspired me. I'm going to recollect them all again. As far as I can. Some were rare as rocking horse sh17. Cue eBay.

 

I'm on annual leave at the minute (hence I'm on here and not working) but I'm definitely looking into putting something out there at some point.

 

Massively appreciate the offer, but we do actually have those on the archive. The key 'needs' for me are the 1999/2000 campaign, and practically everything from then, until about 2008. There's just a big black hole through that period. Even the play-off finals at Wembley and Cardiff - absolutely no record of them.

If anyone can help, before I do go public on a wider scale, that would be superb and we'd be sure to acknowledge your graft etc.

 

I've the full game on DVD of the Swansea play off final. I'll drop it in if you want.

I've also got Ronnie Glavins private collection of him in action late 70s early 80s of course.

Got a few others. Let me know when you're back and I'll drop them down
