Bright and fine

I don't think the pitch is going give the slightest problem, it's the surrounding areas and whether they're clear.

My Brother in Law is a Palace ST holder and he hopes it's off as he can't get tomorrow but would be able to do the rearranged fixture

I also go with him to watch Palace sometimes and they provided me with a great moment at Wembley in the last minute of the 96/97 playoff final.

Your ground is hardly San Siro ya cheeky bugger. It might be arranged for a week on Saturday.

If it is re-arranged for Valentines Day I would love it. I would take great pleasure in telling my Mrs that I am off to sunny Barnsley for the day :D :D

I may even let you buy me a pint in Yates (dancin)

Yates closed a while ago mate.

it's re-opened as a very brightly decorated bar called The Jelly Bar. (doh)

To pick you up on the sunny bit, if Barnsley is owt like Sheffield now it's clear and sunny. Appreciate Palace wouldn't have wanted to travel without reason but making the inspection at 1pm rather than 11am might have made a world a difference. Palace could still have set off at 2pm and been in hotel in time for tea. (N)

It has probably done us a favour as we are playing with no confidence at all at the moment

No problem with snow and we have a heated pitch but....

...we have a couple of important injuries so you'll have to wait.

Must admit I like old Colin

Hated it when he talked about the Blunts, because common sense went out the window. Hear him talking about football, and he comes across well. Saw him on BBC as a pundit at a FA cup match a couple of years ago, and he was very good.

He's got the gift of the gab, and speaks well of his time with us. And he never takes anything a crowd says to him personally. Always gives us a wave after the "W@nk€r" song.

Be a sad day when he leaves football.
