Great point. If their keeper saves it, then our forwards are rubbish and we can't finish our dinner. If Collins saves it, then it proves we're rubbish and that he's singlehandedly got us another point and we're giving up far too many chances.
After watching the performances against Coventry, Luton and Birmingham in the flesh, we looked a far better team today and on another day could have won 3-1 with no better a performance and been lauded as great.
I thought that was a good, compact performance. Nothing breeds confidence like a few clean sheets. Brittain a passenger first half and off the pace in the second, but that's my only real negative. Helik absolutely majestic. Could get very interesting when Schopp gets his strongest side out.
Tbh.. no one knows about the future.. there's no guarantee about anything. You can only comment on what you see today. A few weeks back folk were saying when we get the two Belgium's fit we'll be fine... Well we've seen one three times now and he's looking no better than what we have already. And the other hasn't played for six months. Then the wait till everyone's fit mantra... You may get 3 back and lose 3 others, you never no. Will Schopp ever have all his players to choose from for a length of time to make a difference, who know. You can only judge on what you see today and not the old.. jam tomorrow excuse. And at present we don't look good enough to win a game. The one we did win we were lucky and out played don't forget.. It looks to me at present that the majority of these players we have may have to drop a league to find themselves
We really need to finish the chances we're creating. If we can start doing that, we'll soon start moving up the league. We were solid enough today and had the likes of Oduor & Helik taken their chances, I believe we'd have been talking about a comfortable victory. I can see positives, but until we start picking up some wins, progress will be slow. Helik was my MOTM.
From an iFollow perspective, a hard fought game where a draw was just about fair. We’re just a bit lacking up top, as our goals scored column attests. Hopefully there”s someone to step in and step it up. We live in hope.
