Why can't Frieser just throw a quick one there, rather go for the long one after letting them reset all their 10 foot centre half’s to defend the box.

    We’ve been shït this half.

Imagine being a Birmingham fan paying to watch that week in week out. Two big lumps up front, gamesmanship, long ball and relying on long throws.

Doesn't matter we still have to play both Bournemouth and Reading and we have a game in hand they'll be plenty of twist n turns from now and end of season. Just have to win our games forget the others.

    Utterly, utterly dreadful.
Is plan B to try and actually put a couple of passes together? You never know, it might be worth a go.

They're probably saying the exact same thing about us after that half

I imagine irony may be lost on you.

Anyway, that half was turgid beyond further description.

It's the horror show of someone mimicking your own actions.

Based on that first half he’d fit in well in our team too!

We are losing out on virtually every header, and not winning the second ball often enough.
Overall poor fayre and makes me glad, so far, that I'm watching from the comfort of my settee.

And we’ve done exactly the same, arguably worse than them.

A very, very poor affair so far.

If we get the win it can be the same second half for me, no worries there - but it is a growing concern that they’ve seemingly nullified us completely and we’ve not really given their back line a hard run either.

They’ve not come to play, they’ve come to compete. Good for them, if they’d come and played it around as they apparently normally do we’d have murdered them.

It will be interesting to see what VI does to counter this.

Neither team managed over 50% passing accuracy. Languishing around 42%.

Poor half that, as bad as I've seen from us in a while. But we still didn't look that threatened (other than set pieces) and you get the sense we have more extra gears than they do.

Also Scott Hogan must be closing in on the Bruce Dyer/Daniel Nardiello record for most offsides in a match at Oakwell.

To be fair, we play 3 big lumps up front.

Very much a game of attrition. Both defences on top and nothing for either goalkeeper to do other than deal with crosses.
Hoping for a better showing from us in the second half.

Notwithstanding being spoiled by a great season and position, that was one of the worst halves of football I have seen.
    At any level.

    For an hour.

We've got a little lump in reserve.

I agree although the last 2/3 seasons Birmingham have been a hoof ball team
