It’s staggering Ace. It’s like “this year the board will mostly try and piss as many fans off as possible” That being the case they’re doing a damn fine job.
If anyone thinks losing 5-1 away at Bradford in a crap competition we’ve already qualified in with a team made up of 12 toddlers and a 3 legged stool is rock bottom I’d advise them to go watch Manchester City from now on.
If anyone thinks even with the team selected that losing 5-1 to a bottom half league two team, who’d made nearly as many changes to their team as we had, isn’t an area of concern then I have some magic beans for sale you might be interested in.
Area of Concern doesn’t equal Rock Bottom. It’s a really poor result and performance but it’s not even close to Rock Bottom.
Its not rock bottom of course, nowhere near, and a bit of perspective is needed here. However, its still a disgusting performance and result and attitude from the players. Whether they are like a bunch of reserve team 'kids' or not, this can't be ignored. If we were in the bottom 3 though and if we had lost at home to Horsham, then that's what I'd call rock bottom!.
I'd rather we weren't on a plummeting trajectory to rock bottom or that we view the fact that we've not hit rock bottom (yet) as a positive sign.
Do you know that for a fact or are you placing some kind of misplaced trust in someone to have checked.
I’m honestly a bit more confident, despite two of the last three recent performances being utter shambolic, that on the pitch we are doing the best given the circumstances. Off the pitch and how that effects the team is a whole other story.
