dunno if its possible but could we have an "at work" version so that it looks like you are working

just very plain, black arial fonts, no pictures, emoticons, headers, boxes etc. It would make life a lot easier for a lot of people , I would guess!!!

    a soccerettes section

i know what you're thinking, "where the hell am i going to get photo's to advertise this?"
I can help you out there though. BEFORE the club launches next seasons kit I will somehow purchase myself one (I may have to infiltrate the lotto headquarters to do this) and will pay a professional photographer to take photos of a nice young lady wearing the new kit for your site. You have to understand though that might have to be kind and let the club use the photo's that I own and I paid for in all their promotional material.

Alternatively a chatroom would be nice

    RE: I miss the Outpost

For someone that was getting virtually loved in Longsties every Friday (and loving every inch) I think that nothing less than expected.

could the same result be achieved whilst still allowing the view?

I'm not sure if city tyke could do this but couldn't the templates/coding be altered slightly so that the reply button that most people in flat view incorrectly use is changed to say 'reply to original message' or something so that all those using that view would know which button to press?

I echo the mobile version if poss. Oh and

Maybe someway of like the automatically marking posts with no text (nt)

that we don't have to do the annoying one one Replies (I think) where we are forced to place a full stop or something (can't remember which bit it does it on, but I am sure their are other who could point you in that direction.

Don't think the site needs too much work to be honest, but then again, I like how it works, so ideas maybe short.

    Definately a mobile version though!!

    Another one.....

Forget improving the site, and buy a better processor, or stick in plenty more memory in the server, as the site seems to grind to a halt when something interesting happens and loads log in....

or try and split the traffic so registered users get priority over the bandwidth than "guests" (if at all possible)

RE: Stop people viewing the board in flat view

WTF, I'd like to bet most on here use flat view as i do myself, i find it easier and always manage to get the right reply to the one its intended for....

Saying that Citytyke will more than likely knock the fecker of now, if only to keep the favoured happy....

Personally I feel the layout and interface design is shocking...

    http://www.owlstalk.com/

Just look at the layout, how easy it is to navigate around and how user friendly it is. Makes this site look like something from the 1990's.

Like anderson says, I reckon this style of forum would be a major improvement.

able to keep more messages in your inbox, the twitter thing at the bottom not here as it has hardly anything to do with the football.

A seperate section for advertising coaches, a list of numbers what are useful i.e outpost contacts for away games.

A photo section were we can easily upload our photos from match days, an online messenger thing (maybe not possible).
