Keep the threaded format. I hate crappy VBulletin et al boards where long threads just go on for pages and pages with every post starting, "@Whoever". It is tiresome and impossible to follow. The main page should be viewable in flat or threaded modes and the threads viewable in threaded or nested. Lose the flat view for reading threads, it's pointless and causes confusion. A more colourful interface would be nice. It is a bit bland and old-fashioned at the moment. A message box to alert you to new PM's would be handy also.
A few bands websites allow fans to upload photo's/review gigs. Maybe edit this to make it into a 'Matchday' forum where people can upload match reports & then people can upload there photo's onto here. Guessing this may be restricted for server space etc. Live chat to anyone who's online & pop up alerts when PM's are received. Links to newsnow or other newsgroups may be good as well instead of just BBC below.
Ah dint even press it twice... People like Jonno also make the place look untidy by double posting...
Ive got a vbulletin owned license that im looking to sell. It costs £100 direct from vbulletin but im only looking for around £80 its very easy to setup configure and customise. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/ You would just need to design a skin or customise a premade one.
I'd like it... ...to suck me off, and then be able to make me a nice latte with semi-skimmed milk. Cheers.
As many people have said, a mobile friendly version would be nice I wouldn't mind coming on here on my way home from an away game tbh, because it'd give me sumat to do and you could get people's views who have been to the game or are at the game.
They're charging £39 to replace it. Not bad considering a new one would cost £100 at least. Thrown in some new headphones and told me I can keep everything else the old one came with. So seeing as headphones in the shop are about £20, it's only really cost £19. Sweet.
