I’ve been on Casualty 24/7, I was a red phone admission. Wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my wife and the resuss team, especially Dr Dan Bewick. Series 2 episode 1 - we were on that series’s programmes opening segment all series. My wife is the one who asks”might he die?”. It was a strange time seeing what they went through, watched it the once but can’t watch it again.

This song allus has meaning. I believe it would apply to most folk wherever they're from. only the places are different. I could never dream of living anywhere else. My home. My tarn and. its, in the main. Wonderful people. Who could ask for more.

    I am , I said. Neil Diamond

L.A.'s fine, the sun shines most the time
And the feeling is "lay back"
Palm trees grow and rents are low
But you know I keep thinkin' about
    Making my way back
Well I'm New York City born and raised
    But nowadays
    I'm lost between two shores
L.A.'s fine, but it ain't home
    New York's home
But it ain't mine no more
    "I am"... I said
    To no one there
And no one heard at all
    Not even the chair
    "I am"... I cried
    "I am"... said I
    And I am lost and I can't
    Even say why
    Leavin' me lonely still
Did you ever read about a frog
Who dreamed of bein' a king
    And then became one
    Well except for the names
    And a few other changes
    If you talk about me
The story is the same one
But I got an emptiness deep inside
    And I've tried
But it won't let me go
And I'm not a man who likes to swear
    But I never cared
For the sound of being alone
    "I am"... I said
    To no one there
And no one heard at all
    Not even the chair
    "I am"... I cried
    "I am"... said I
    And I am lost and I can't
    Even say why
    "I am"... I said
    "I am"... I cried
    "I am"

Cue for a Barnsley song with altered lyrics in there. :)

It's all Tyke67s fault, he brought it back ;) Funnily enough I found myself looking at property prices in Barnsley the other day and houses near Oakwell. Don't want it to obviously but if anything happened to my much better half I'd probably move back. She's not keen herself but then she was born in Huddersfield ;)

Don't blame me :) as I didn't know of it's existence until someone else put a link to it in another thread. :)
