    In promotion season the number 7 shirt was the shirt to have. Marcelle was given it for the start of the season and scored 4 goals in his first 5 appearances with the 7 on his back. Sheridan wore it twice and scored one of his rare goals in it. Liddell wore it once and scored. And for much of the season Super Johnnie Hendrie was given it and we all remember what he did. I think it had been sprinkled with fairy dust.
