RE: Aye, and under Islamic law, hopefully we European types will........... I agree. But it is understandable.
Bradford... Being from Bradford I can honestly say that an ethnic mix is not always a good thing. It does create tension. Many of the ethnic areas are really poor and now no-go areas.
RE: Barnsley's ethnic minority actually almost doubled since 2001 census in 2001 Barnsley was 98% white.
Every council in the country gets a grant for translation of essential service information into other languages
The grant is based upon, head of population who don't have english as their first language.
It's a few years ago and we all know goverment stats can be slightly out of date, but
Barnsley gets THE lowest grant in the country ... because of it has the lowest need, not because it's being picked on

Large ethnic minority where I work My group for English last year had 2 from the Yemen, 1 Russian, 2 Africans,1 from Iraq and1 from Columbia made life interesting !
RE: where's the link to that, cant find it on their website race is not the word i would use.. other etnic orgin the word race is a word that is used by people, you are amongst them, to put people with other skin color below white people. closer to the apes sort of speak
RE: The official figures do not include illegal immgration I'm quite sure we'll never know the true mix of ethnicity in the UK, as the Government can only estimate illegal immigration and has a vested interest in keeping that estimate low... it implies they're doing a good job of conrolling illegal immigration.
RE: Aye, and under Islamic law, hopefully we European types will...........
The way some people go on you'd think they're naive enough to believe that 7/7 (7/11?) and 9/11 are the only issues most people have with Islam.
You complete idiot.

RE: Aye, and under Islamic law, hopefully we European types will........... Run along now you little Englander.
RE: Is that this week's phrase? Not stuck old boy - sometimes less is more and 'Little Englander' describes your generalised xenophobic rants about people from other places quite well.
RE: Is that this week's phrase? Generalised xenophobic rants? LOL! Yes, that describes a piece pointing out the faults of someone other than the evil Brits or USA quite well. You silly little boy.
RE: Is that this week's phrase?
You can pretend not to understand if that's your best way of dealing with it.

No, really. You don't.
And you're not really laughing are you?
I think I know what it is. You can't figure out how to make the McGann case more relevant to you than anyone else on here can you? Go on have a go.Difficult, I know, with it involving "people from other places" and all but I bet you can do it. You managed it withAIRy's post about his dad, that was genius.
