    Hahaha oreyt.

Better player than Gazza int he?

Still though, my point remains. He's never done anything of importance in an international competition, regardless of being fully fit.

Also Ali was ****, i'd bray him up any day

Rooney is a tossbag, Wellbeck is just ****. That's my considered opinion anyway.

I'd give Sturridge a chance, he's looked as good as Suarez since his transfer. I wouldn't pick ALF though, he can't get in Reading's first team and has played hardly any minutes in the top league. He has a good GPM ratio but he comes on for the last 15 or so when the opposition defence is tired. He hasn't ever done as well starting a game.

International football is different to domestic football, so good/bad stats doesn't mean you're a good/bad international player. You need to do well enough in domestic football to get your chance, but it's more important to do well once you've got that chance. Rooney has proven himself as good player for England of the years. When Welbeck has been given the chance and started for England, he's played well. I know the majority on here think that he's **** and never plays well for England but the general consensus of the rest of the footballing world (where there's not as many people who enjoy grumbling about the Premier League/England) is that he deserves to keep playing.

I'd give Sturridge a chance, but I certainly wouldn't drop Welbeck or Rooney from the squad.

There's not many England players who you can say that about in the last 45-50 years.
