    I remember one episode where

    .. the kids all blew together to try and blow a tall chimney onto the school to put it out of action. The chimney fell but missed the school. As they were all blowing, Smiffy sucked inwards instead, with the sub-caption &quot;Smiffy always does things wrong&quot;</p>

    Priceless stuff.</p>

    Tuesdays and Fridays were the worst

    The radio and TV times on tuesday and the chron on Fridays.... hell

    The Smiffy classic I remember was his poem for some competition or another.

    The sun is square
    It shines every night

    Still makes me giggle.

    to right, start at 3.30 am, shop opened at 3 in those days for the pit lads, i used to do the village/white city and red city and all for 85p, i used to hate fridays and sundays.
